Boost Millennial Memberships

These strategies can bring young adults into the movement in greater numbers.

With banks as the face of the financial crisis, it's puzzling why millennials didn't flock to credit unions, according to a Filene Research Institute study.

In the study, "What Millennials Want: The Future of Millennials in the Credit Union System," author Andrew Turner, a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, evaluates what can bring millennials into the credit union movement.

"No one is going to solve millennials," Turner writes. "This is a huge generation, facing unique and new challenges. At the same time, we are all hurtling into a new globalized, networked future that none of us yet fully understand."
